MISTY MURHPY is a multi-faceted musician and song writer from Salt Lake City. Misty moved to St.George 4 years ago to pursue her other passion, rock climbing. Over the past 5 years she has released two cd's: 'Circles' in 2002 (Invisibleland Records) and 'Venus' (Lazuli Records), the latter in which she wrote, produced and playing all of the instruments on. Misty has toured all over the US playing such venues as 'The Stone Pony' NJ, the CMG Music Festival in Manhatten, and 'The Gig' in Hollywood. Misty was also voted 'Best Female Vocalist' in Utah by the SL Weekly for 2002 and 2003, and her album 'Circles' 2nd best album in Utah. Misty regularly plays at 'Xetava Gardens Cafe' in Kayenta, and continues to play shows outside of St.George. Misty is currently working on an album with Cincinnati, OH based musician Odub. Their song 'Savgi' will be in the upcoming climbing film by Mike Call.
