GRANT GUNN Described as “St. George’s troubadour” would be the most accurate handle for this gentle musician, performer, and songwriter.
He hails from the Salt Lake area but has traveled some and has worn many hats throughout his years. We are pleased that he now resides locally and entertains whenever he’s able. He’s been a band member of “Replay”, “Coyote Moon”, “The Glory Hogs”, “Dixie Troubadours”, and has called on area musicians to jam with him from time to time with “Grant Gunn And Who Knows Who.” A SUSWA member for several seasons, he has performed at the county fair, Colgate Country Showdown, Ancestor Square, Jazzy Java, The Dixie Elks Lodge, and will play his Gibson acoustic and sing for anyone, anywhere. Gunn is an avid Beatles memorabilia collector and fan, but also finds time to play some of his other favorites such as Loudin Wainwright III, James Taylor, or The Eagles.
In mid-2008 he began performing weekly at the “Red Coyote Café” in Virgin, with the classic country duo “Honky Tonk Heros”, which has added several members in 2009 for larger gigs. Grant was also tapped recently by KTIM 101.9 FM Environmentally Friendly Radio to host “Beatle Notes with Grant Grant every Sunday at 7 pm. He can be contacted at (435) 669-6179 or through SUSWA.
