Ryan Tilby is a local seasoned bluegrass musician with credentials such as being a member of String Fever, two-time Telluride National Band Champions, and Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband. He also plays bass for local favorite Sam Payne and more recently, Peter Breinholt.
Drew Williams is a northern boy and has been playing music for over 20 years. He started playing fiddle at age 5 in his family's bluegrass band. Drew studied jazz violin with Jim Hurley in California. Since then he has been a part of various groups, including Gift Horse, 4 Mile Pass, and Mckenzie Bridge. This group took 1st place at the 2002 National Band Competition in Victorville Ca. Drew has won various awards for his talent on the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. He has had the opportunity to play with Country Grammy winner, Jodee Messina. Currently he plays with folk singer/songwriter Peter Brienholt and Big Parade. Drew just collaborated with Ryan Tilby on the duo's first project together, "Two for the Show."
"Two for the Show" is a project that while anchored in traditional bluegrass
stylings, stretches into newgrass and jazz in exciting and interesting ways.
